What this covers

These terms cover your use of counterlyapp.com and the free website score tool on it. Work we do for a client — a website, kiosk, ordering or anything else — is covered by a separate written agreement, not by this page. Sending us the contact form does not create a contract; it starts a conversation.

The free website score

The score is an automated check of a handful of basics a customer runs into when they look a business up. It loads one page once. It is not a full audit, it can be wrong, and a pass does not mean a site is good or a miss that it is bad. It is provided as is, for information, and you decide what to do with it.

Use it on sites you run or are thinking about working with us on. Do not use it to load someone else's site repeatedly; it is rate-limited, and we may block use that looks like that.

The example shop

Rye & Co. is a fictional bakery we built to show the system. It is not a client, and nothing on this site should be read as a claim about a real customer until we name one.

Liability

The site and the score tool are provided without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of them or from decisions made on the score. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that cannot be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of California. Questions go to[email protected]. If we change these terms, the date at the top moves.
